I noticed I mixed up both names in the review but will fix it.

Thanks for the correction!

PS I agree Took Bae Kee is a great place for Korean food, and I've been several times!Adrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12426391201575811019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186491392988601804.post-71036313532202794322011-07-29T14:00:06.903+08:002011-07-29T14:00:06.903+08:00Is this review for Took Bae Kee (on Pier St, love ...Is this review for Took Bae Kee (on Pier St, love this place) or Took Begi, on Hay St?

Or Took Bae Kee II on Barrack St.

I'm a little confused.Jerennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186491392988601804.post-87461867483796371782011-07-10T23:00:28.337+08:002011-07-10T23:00:28.337+08:00Hi Raymond

Either way, they make good bibimbap. I would personally just make sure it comes with egg.

Hope you had a good experience there on the weekend.

AdrianAdrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12426391201575811019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186491392988601804.post-4924804070965453392011-07-08T19:38:40.153+08:002011-07-08T19:38:40.153+08:00I'm a little confused over "normal" ...I'm a little confused over "normal" bibimbap vs. stone bowl bibimbap.

From my time in Korea, I seem to recall you had the choice of hot or cold. So cold was in a metal bowl, hot in a warmed stone bowl.

But this was the same for noodles as well. I personally find cold noodles unpleasant and a little cloying, but I guess it's all personal taste. Plus being chinese, I'm used to noodles being hot out of the wok.

This restaurant does look good though. Will try this weekend!Raymondnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186491392988601804.post-82942685114451654052010-12-23T15:33:32.998+08:002010-12-23T15:33:32.998+08:00Hi Miae

I also remember seeing this program where they used oysters in the Kimchee - I would like to try that.

Plus I must get onto one of your party every night Korean "entertaining" sprees. :)

AdrianAdrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12426391201575811019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186491392988601804.post-88659387069139802012010-12-21T08:23:55.151+08:002010-12-21T08:23:55.151+08:00Hi Adrian,
